Before I saw Dr. Schleicher, I had been sleep-tested and diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. My AHI was 60-70 per hour. My pulmonologist recommended CPAP. I didn't want CPAP, so I met with Dr. Schleicher. When I was retested a year later (6 months after getting my device from Dr. Schleicher), my AHI was 3-6 times per hour. I was amazed! Dr. Schleicher was my dentist from day one. Now he continues to help me with my TMJ. He was able to modify my retainer to build a bridge that helped me get rid of lock jaw. He really understands TMJ and thinks outside the box if normal treatment isn’t working. I definitely recommend seeing him if you are suffering with your TMJ!

I saw Dr Schleicher at Sleep Houston to get an oral appliance as an alternative to my CPAP. I have not worn my CPAP in the last year because I HATE IT ! So when I found out about what Sleep Houston does with oral appliances to fix my apnea I decided to give it a try. WOW!!! What a difference it has made it my life ! No more walking up with headaches - no more Red Bull at 10AM no more falling asleep at my desk at work and sooooooo much energy in my life !
